The stressors, toxicants and contaminant namea relevant for each EV list are listed alphabetically on each web page, and for the 'All Guidelines' Pages. Similar parameter types have been grouped together using prefixes in the names, for example all the nitrogen compounds have been labelled as "Nitrogen - Ammonia(NH3)"; "Nitrogen - Nitrate (NO3)"; "Nitrogen - Nitrite(NO2)"; etc. This means that when you make a search the similar named parameters will be shown together in the previous window. This does not affect the search - i.e. you do not have to include the prefix. You can scroll through the stressors (parameters) using the "First","Next","Previous", and "Last" buttons. To search you enter a name such as "copper", or part of that name in the search field, and then hit the return key or click the "Find It" button. You can enter a part of a word. Entering a 'space' after a precise name will help you narrow down the search (e.g. 'pH '. You can search "Again' until you find what you want. The parameter found will be displayed and the name highlighted in the 'preview window', together with the 4 names before and after the name found in the list. Clicking on another name in the preview window will select it and display its guideline values. When you navigate to another EV list the program automatically finds the last parameter name you selected on the new page. If no guideline values are specified in the new EV list the first name is selected and displayed.

Use these buttons to scroll through the list of parameters (stressors) for the EV you have selected.

Enter text in the field and Click "Find It". The result will be displayed. You can seach again until you find the stressor name you require.

Choices are highlighted here in the Preview Window, as well as the stressors immediately before and after it in the listing.
